New friend request!

New friend request!

Seriously? Yes, please be my friend so I can and maybe, just maybe we can share kidnapping stories over a virtual coffee or tea you can “give” your friends online.  Ya know…I think this is the start of something beautiful between us.

I just came to the conclusion, in the last minute that I haven’t blogged very much lately. Nothing incredibly poetic coming forth in my mind, no great feats of art or personal reflection, I’ve just been content with being.

I’ve been so busy lately with various things in life I suppose…

  • Working more heavily with Our Brother’s Keeper Foundation, creating a site for them using Silverstripe
  • Made a few trips to Eastern bringing Jen almost home, taking her back
  • Considering a new design, color scheme for my current site, or perhaps just scrapping it entirely
  • Very busy with various Holiday projects for work…go to DelawareOnline in Decemeber and you’ll see them
  • Apparently I have harems
  • Taking Dad out to dinner this week for Steak and Beer…that should be a good time with him, apparently I only have about 5 more weeks until his contract in Jersey ends
  • I should probably shoot a update video soon, or just a video in general…I’ve come to the conclusion I don’t have enough video on this site
  • delawareonline.tv splash is up!
  • I wish more of my friends blogged; that may be nice

sunday morning coffee

I really hate the unpredictability of mornings, despite the fact that I do consider myself a morning person.

Some mornings I’m good, ready for work in all of its joy.

Other days, I’m resembling a sloth, likely falling into my couch on the way to the coffee machine. If I manage to get up from this abyss of comfort I’ll completely miss the coffee machine in lieu of concentrating on opening and toasting that pack of pop tarts.

Sometimes the coffee has no effect and I drive into work while in this dreamscape state (which makes me wonder and thankful all at once).

Regardless of how much sleep I’ve managed to “achieve” its random, unpredictable, and without reason.

At least I don’t have a scrict schedule.

I think this is one of my better writings from my college days.

Busy, temperamental, depressing, chaotic,
so sadness mixed with gladness,
i’ve become the maddest.

Thus is the mind of I, a confusing, perplexed, hodgepodge amalgamate group of moiety; medietas thoughts, ideas, hopes, dreams, aspirations,
medietas reflections, personas, patterns, filters, blocks, buttons, triggers, intellectual stimuli

Everyday another chess game i play,
everyday another battle that i face,
everyday another this another that,
everyday its a shame it may end someday.

Don’t take this to heart,
it was never meant for you to be read,
instead,
oh instead
these are the thoughts in my head.

This was fun,
it was great,
random things,
come to mean,
nothing i can escape.
