I just came to the conclusion, in the last minute that I haven’t blogged very much lately. Nothing incredibly poetic coming forth in my mind, no great feats of art or personal reflection, I’ve just been content with being.

I’ve been so busy lately with various things in life I suppose…

Working more heavily with Our Brother’s Keeper Foundation, creating a site for them using Silverstripe

Made a few trips to Eastern bringing Jen almost home, taking her back

Considering a new design, color scheme for my current site, or perhaps just scrapping it entirely

Very busy with various Holiday projects for work…go to DelawareOnline in Decemeber and you’ll see them

Apparently I have harems

Taking Dad out to dinner this week for Steak and Beer…that should be a good time with him, apparently I only have about 5 more weeks until his contract in Jersey ends

I should probably shoot a update video soon, or just a video in general…I’ve come to the conclusion I don’t have enough video on this site

delawareonline.tv splash is up!

I wish more of my friends blogged; that may be nice

These are things I’ll be writing about sometime soon, many of them are drafts just waiting for finishing/fine tuning. Surprisingly, I don’t write all of these on a whim.

I want to learn about altruism, the belief/idea to lay your life/body/self for others. I want to explore the idea that people will unselfishly do things for others at their own possible doom or risk. I’m curious as to what their mindset is.

Nihilism – that existence is without purpose, meaning or reason…I am honestly curious as to how people can accept this “belief”

Creative stimulation - how to maintain and achieve constant creative flow, because I really need that right now and considering I had it before, its essential for me to grasp that. I’m reading a book that should help me with this one.

Lovesongs – or the songs that whenever I fall in love, I want these to be the soundtrack, and what specifically from them stands out. I have the list at just around 100…I’ll narrow it down to roughly 25 with any luck.

The constant evolution – how we constantly change and adapt as time passes, we experience new things and encounter/face new life challenges

Addiction & depression – I want to revisit a piece I wrote last winter with hopefully some new insights

Dr. Future - Holding off on that one for now, but def. will be published at some point

untitled – Alison gave me the idea…write a letter to your future spouse. No idea what to put in it, how to write, but it sounds like a brilliant idea if can find my angle & focus for it.

More to come, hopefully these writings with any luck!

allbest,

I’ve always considered myself a fairly ambitious and goal-oriented person. Since graduating college and landing the post-college job of my dreams (realistically) I admit, I’ve been feeling really satisfied.

The hunger died some because I felt I had reached my goal and so I continued blindly without setting up what will be the next supposed achievement. I stopped accepting freelance work for sometime, focused more on the social life I neglected in my college days and built this strong community of amazing individuals around me.

These friends come in all sorts of levels and categories from old friends, to acquaintances, to work friends and etc. They’re what I built my life around, not over achievement.

But, now that everything has stabilized, I’m comfortably where I need to be socially its time I focus back onto goals and aspirations. The things I should be doing my life.
This list reflects just that:

Run and/or bike 3 times a week, no excuses

Clean my place, simplify it some - I have a lot of things, perhaps too many and its too much

Launch CitizenConnelly and honestly chronicle life

Take on more digital work where applicable, whether it is for me personally or paid

Bible time – I grew up in a devoutly religious family and that is one part of my life that I need to get back on track; I’ve been lukewarm on this for too long.

Prioritize better, list better - From the start of the work day and on so I can truly accomplish what I set out to do (this list is built from a list I made last week, for example)

Less time reading online during work hours – I swear, like most, that I have ADD but I need to learn to focus more

So this is the list for now, its not complete but then again…neither am I
