Dear Web Designer,
Don’t make me think. Don’t make me wonder, question or dare make me explore to find what I’m looking for…until you’ve pulled me first.
Here are my list of demands for every site you create:
- Tell me what’s important, what’s not. I’m talking big and o b v i o u s
- Navigation is not a Rubik’s cube, if I can’t figure out how or where to go to find it, I’m out
- Search bar that’s relevant, if I ever think of searching through your pages.
- Readability, make text easily readable, none of this nonsense
- You have 5, maybe 10 seconds to tell me who and what you are. More importantly, why I should spend that next second on your site.
