Close win last night by the Sofa Kings in the DSL playoffs.

My good buddy Larry and his team Swift Kick the Grass has us on edge all night with bloops and grounders to the 3rd base side.

We tried to close it in the 7th with a one run lead but they scored to tie it up.

So bottom of the 7th, tied 7-7 Nicole kicked on, Pat placed a kick, Gabbie flied out, Bob flied out and with 2 outs…I kicked through the winning run for the walk-off victory.

Tonight we play Pizza By Elizabeth (6-0) so this should be a tough one. All the same..we’ll have a good time

It’s something amazing, the human touch. The ability for one person to impact another just by making literal contact.

It can raise heart rates, emotional states, and even has the ability to cure.

This post is rather short, because I am in awe of the simple human touch.

6pm Alapocas against the Scratch Attack….this should be fun. These guys are going to give us a run for our money.

Thanks to the Phils half-off 400 level seats for following them on twitter, we’re going to see them tonight against the Blue Jays!
Hamels vs Romero…should be fun time, likely filled with hot dogs, expensive beer and rowdy Philly fans who don’t understand the incremental weight of the 161 other games they’ll play in.

The DelTweetUp was undoubtedly a success.

Garnering press from WDEL and the News Journal (twice) we had well over 50 people come through Iron Hill on the Riverfront. There was food, fellowship and a real chance to meet people who’s lives you so intently read about in 140 characters or less.

Its Friday and at 3:26pm…its almost over. So close, nearly 90 minutes away from a personal exit to the weekend.

Tonight, dinner at Don Pablos with Dave and Brenda, tomorrow Jason’s graduation, Sunday Jason’s grad party.

Very chill, simplistic weekend on tap and I’m looking forward to it.

Tonight we play against our good buddies We Got the Runs in what will likely be an epic battle of strength, determination and folly.

Or just a great game with some buddies we got to know from Dodgeball…in any event, go fn’ sapphires!

Eric Hutchinson – Rock and Roll

I had a great time visiting the kids at MCVSD yesterday, speaking to the Journalism and Adv. Web classes.

These are students that “get it” or are very close. Their interest in social media was impressive and their knowledge in the subject matters was outstanding.

It was a refreshing experience for me to see their interest and current projects. Its so easy to blockade yourself in a world of professionalism. Every now and then you need to see things so outside the box you leave rejuvenated.

It was a great experience and I would happily visit again next year.
